the eyeshadows will not stay on very well they have no pigmentation and no matter how much eyeshadow primer you put on, it will not stay on
the eyeliners are also bad- they are very harsh on the eye and smear immediately- especially the black pencil. the lead breaks really quick and the sharpeners don't sharpen the eyeliner very well.
the brushes are pretty good-i really like them- i like all the eye brushes, the liner brush, and the powder brush. the foundation brush is no good so don't buy it. The concealer brush is a good brush to use to apply lipsticks.
the eyelash curler works great! i love how it curls my lashes.
the liquid eyeliner pen is also good but only as a base- i use it to line my top lid and go over it with a gel or liquid liner. if you use the pen alone, it will smear and smudge. then pen is also thin, so you can do your top lid as thin/thick as you like.
the liquid liner smells funny and made my eyes watery immediately after i applied it on my top lids.
the makeup remover pads are no good. they are very harsh on the eye and can irritate your eyes. it turned my eyes red everytime i used it
the false lashes are pretty good but the glue sucks.
the red nail polishes are also good- i like them a lot
ELF was pretty quick with my shipping. I live in CA and I think it took 5 days max for me to receive. I had heard that ELF was very bad with their shipping but I didn't have a problem with it. I've used some ELF products and I didn't like them. With makeup you more or less get what you pay for. Plus, I've heard that ELF uses cheap fillers in their makeup (like other cheap brands), which'll ruin your skin over time. I definetly wouldn't recommend it. Sorry /=

Get the Studio line from e.l.f. . They have a blush and bronzer duo that is very similar to NARS Orgasm and Laguna duo.

When I first started out to makeup, I tried this brand and absoutley fell in love with almost everything on their website. I order about once a month, and love everything. (:
EYES: Waterproof eyeliner pen, I love it, best waterproof eyeliner I have ever used, along with the liquid liner. Great liquid liner, I would suggest the plum. (: As for the fake lashes, not so good, you are better off getting drugstore brand. The mascara is great of beginners. It was my first, but I soon upgraded. The only bad thing is that it dries out very quickly, so if you are ordering, get two. As for the pencil eyeliner, great, vibrant colors, perfect for beginners. I still use them and I'm 16 (: Do not get the eye makeup remover pads, they burned my eyes. The ELF duo eye creams, don't get them either, not even to be used as a base, they crease and my it look like you have oily eyelids. And lastly, the brightening eye color eyeshadow quads, are great!!! My favorite eyeshadow ever, such pigmented colors, can't get enough of them. I wish they would come out with more color eyeshadows though(: All of the eyeshadows are great! They don't crease, they are long lasting and great colors.
LIPS: All of the lips products are great. That is enough said about that. Just kidding, here is the real deal. The Hypershine lip gloss if great, but if you are going to order it, make sure you get two or three, it doesn't last very long, but the lipgloss itself does stay on quite a while. All of the other lip glosses I give a 10 out of 10! As for the lip liners, I don't wear them, but I use them for an eyeliner.
FACE: The all over color stick is amazing! I buy them all the time, and when I go order, I get about 5 of them, just because I use them for different things, I used them for a lip gloss, a base for my eyeshadow, and even a cream blush. Same for the all over cover stick. (: I love it too, great for a concealer. And as for the Blusher, all the colors are great, and they are great for eyeshadow use too (: The Shimmering facial whip is good for shimmer and can also be used for a base for your blush and your eyeshadow and a lipgloss. But don't let the picture fool you, there isn't a lot of product in that tiny bottle, to again, get two or three. All of the other products are on the website are great too (:
The brushes are great for beginners, I recommend them!!

in my opinion i would not put anything on my face that is $1 (formula wise)...
iv ordered from elf one and i purchased a lash curler that everone raves about and its good i guess! i also got their lashes which i havent applied yet but they seem of good quality. i bout the brow %26amp; lash gel and they seen to work good. i went out on a lim and tried 3 lippies which i didnt like the colors. and thats all ,although i heard the studio brushes(i think thats the name) are really nice and iv read that the flat top frush is a good dupe for the MAC 187 foundation stippler brush!! they are 3$ but thats still a good price. i think im going to buy it!! hope that helps
I really don't know what half of these people are talking about, I buy ELF all the time, usually with every paycheck.
I have a bunch of their eyeshadow brushes %26amp; blender brushes, and they are pretty good quality. I have their smokey eye quad, which isn't as pigmented as maybe MAC, but you are paying $1 for it, but I do use it often. I love their lipglosses, their spf ones stay on for a long time, they outlast my MAC lipglosses. I have not tried their blush, because of how small the amount is. The all-over cover stick is a GREAT concealer/eyeshadow base. Their cream eyeshadows work awesome as bases too, but you want to have a starter base on first (such as urban decay primer potion for oily lids, and too faced shadow insurance for dryer lids), as with any creamy base.
I love their products, and I'm still ordering from them, don't let high-end brand pricks tell you that something that costs you $1 is always low-quality.
I buy MAC, Urban Decay, and Too Faced, in the end, it is all just makeup.
Don't be afraid to buy something lower end, because even with high-end expensive brands, you don't always get what you pay for.
