Has anyone tried out ELF (eyes lips face) products??

I recently asked a question about mineral makeup to try and someone suggested for the price that I try out ELF. I took a look at their website and couldn't believe what I was seeing...I have never seen makeup for a $1! But my question is this...is it good quality makeup??

I would like to hear from people who have tried the ELF products. Did you think the quality was good? Is it as good as other well known brands like Maybelline, Cover Girl, etc??

Thanks!Has anyone tried out ELF (eyes lips face) products??
Their eye colors and lipstuff is pretty good, along with their nail polish, eyelash curler, and some brushes (better than maybelline, CG, etc). I've heard their mineral stuff and foundation was pretty bad. The eyemakeup remover pads aren't even worth it.

Also, try to buy it in the store if you can. Online the products are good prices but it's like $7 for shipping unless you order a ton of stuff and use a coupon code. It also takes awhile to ship (I've heard 10-20 days), and they don't always send everything you order because sometimes stuff is out of stock and instead of telling you online when you order, they just neglect to send it.

Other than those minor things, most of their products are pretty good for the price. Don't expect MAC quality or anything, but for $1 it's surprisingly good.Has anyone tried out ELF (eyes lips face) products??
I personally have ordered the e.l.f. lip plumping gloss, diva eye shadow palette, and an eye liner. I was pleasantly surprised with the lip gloss. I was not pleased with the eye liner though. The eyeshadow was nice, but the cheap looking plastic palette turned me off. I love their nail polish removing pads too.

I found this review online that you may find helpful:

Best Products: E.L.F.鈥檚 tweezers ($1) rival any pair on the market (including Tweezerman, $15) with their super angled tip and heavy duty construction. The Eye Widener pencil ($1) is a white pearlescent liner that is virtually identical to Benefit鈥檚 Mr. Frosty ($18); just a quick stroke instantly wakes up tired eyes. Beautifully sheer and absent of tacky glitter, the Shimmering Facial Whip ($1) leaves skin gleaming just as well as MAC鈥檚 iridescent Strobe Cream ($28.50). The Shielding Lip Gloss ($1) is not to be missed, either. Unlike many other value products, it has a built in SPF to protect lips as well as make them gleam with a slick, lustrous shine.

**ALSO, I just placed my 2nd order with e.l.f., and I used the coupon code ';Carolina'; for 50% off entire order!** So now I'm getting make-up for 50 cents a piece, which is crazy!
It's kinda like dollar store stuff online if you get my drift.

The old saying ';you get what you pay for'; holds true here.

If you're looking for good quality natural mineral makeup, try some of what I use.......LA Minerals. Great makeup, great price. They don't put talc or parabens or perfumes or bismuth oxychloride in theirs. (bare minerals has bismuth. Lotsa store brands have talc and chemicals)

They have samples for like $1 and ship em free. Can't beat that deal.

I use the Hollywood formula and its GREAT! Lasts all day long, doesn't disappear like so many other foundations I've used. I even swim in it and it stays on! Feels like you are wearing nothing at all.

Yes, i've tried them, and i 鈾? them! They're the best and cheapest products i've used!
I like it because they give you a choice of what you want in your compact. You don't have to buy it fully made.

I personally only use their eyeshadow because they have a lot of interesting colors that other brands don't offer. Their foundation isn't all that great, and I must admit that I have seen better mascara.
I dont want to sound materialistc, but Elf products or anything cheap like that does not work at all. Its more like little girls princess make up. I have tried it before when I was younger, and it wasnt so good. The lip gloss was too sticky, the eyeshadow kept coming off after just a few hours, and the rest just wasnt worth it. Other makeups like Covergirl, Maybelline, and Rimmel are okay, but Elf is just not good at all.
