Best lip and eye color for dark skin chicks?

i would love to know what you found to complement your skinBest lip and eye color for dark skin chicks?
I am so jealous of dark skinned/tanned girls, they can wear almost any color on their lips and look gorgeous. At least that is how it looks to me.

I met a beautiful black women in Sephora today and she had a stunning dark purple on her lips. If I had worn that color with my fair skin I would look like a clown or Gothic chic.

I have also seen colors like browns and pinks look amazing.

Quite honestly I can't imagine a color that wouldn't look good on a dark skin.Best lip and eye color for dark skin chicks?
darker the skin darker the colors you can do. try a dark berry or wine color for lips, and similar tones (not color) for eyes.

Oh, do eyes or lips, not both, especially during the day.
dark skin, hmmm. i think maybe purple, and golds. stuff like that. BEAUTIFUL!
Definitely go for a light purple shadow! Golds and oranges also look great on dark skin. As for lips, go for nice dark, berry shades. Good luck!
PURPLE, I use a dark purple lip liner and a lighter purple lip gloss and on my eyes a purple-ish color
One thing about being dark skinned is that a lot of colors work for us. I like the natural look the best so...I use hues of brown (gold, tan, champagne, dark brown) for my eyes. Any color pretty much looks good on eyes as long as you don't over do it. I also love use champagne colored lip gloss lined with dark brown( to blend) for my lips. But reds and corals also look good. Try going to a make-up counter in the mall and have them give you a make over so you can see with the help of a professional.
Your Eyes:

1. For great looking eyes make sure to use powder shadows for a natural look and a eyeliner pencil for drama at night. Make sure the liner has a smudge tip at one end to get that smoky eye look. Only line the top of the eye is you're looking tired. You don't want to bring more attention to dark circles under the eyes. Neutral tones with a hint of color are flattering on everybody.

2. For sheen on the eyelids, dab a bit of Vaseline for a pretty reflective quality, as well as moisture.

3. Open up the eye with a gold/beige shimmery high lighter onto the brow bone.

4. Don't throw away cash on an expensive eye makeup remover! Find a pretty glass bottle and fill it with baby shampoo.

5. If your cream eye shadow dries out, use a few drops of water or mineral oil to soften it up again.

5. Potatoes, like cucumbers, will reduce the appearance of dark, under-eye circles.

Your Lips:

1. Use blush as a lipstick, then use clear gloss or lip balm over it. Longer staying power.

2. Natural ingredients have been used for centuries as makeup: apply beet juice to lips and cheeks as a stain,or mix it with melted bees wax to make your own lip balm! Cayenne pepper can plump the lips, but use with caution!

3. Use eye makeup remover to treat super dry, chapped lips. It's a great nighttime lip treatment!
