Dogs swollen eyes and lips?

my dog has swollen eyes and lips and shes running around everywhere looks like she in pain. shes scratching her face. whats wrong with her? and what can i do without going to the vet?Dogs swollen eyes and lips?
I think your dog may have gotten into something she is allergic to. This happened to my dog a few weeks ago, and we rushed him to the ER. He needed a shot of Benadryl and antibiotics to keep the irritated areas from getting infected. It is now two weeks later and he is finally getting better. My vet says that alot of dogs have come in with this complaint this year. If I were you I would get to a vet.Dogs swollen eyes and lips?
Allergic reaction. If you are unwilling to go to a vet, call them on the phone. They will tell you to give them a common antihistamine. Ask the Vet before doing anything or you might kill your dog.
Get her to a Vet for sure! If you are absolutely not going to take her to one, at least try and give her some Benadryl capsules. I had a dog that got bitten on the face and in the mouth by fire ants that got into his bone. (There were none in my yard and they made an invasion one day when he was out in the yard with a big bone.) It made him very sick and per Vet I gave him Benadryl, 50 mg. every six hrs round the clock and made sure he was getting some water.

You really need to at least ASK your Vet what to do and the amount of Benadryl (if your Vet says it's okay) to use for your dog.
well, only your vet is qualified to answer and as you said your dog is in pain and you have made a commitment to care for her so do the right thing and call your vet...he/she can probably help you over the phone tonight.
She needs a vet! Possibly a serious allergic reaction.
Sounds like your dog got sting by a bee or one of those beetles that flies around in the day time.

Go to the VET!!!!
I am wondering if she may have got stung by one or more insects!!! Like bees!!!! Try to wash her face, and look for small stingers.

Good Luck
possible bee sting or other bug. give dose of childrens liquid benedryl. go according to the weight... the kids isnt as strong. the fact it is liquid will get into her system that much sooner. it will buy you enough time to get to the vet....i would suggest using a baby medicine syrynge for liquids. {i am a mom and have a ton of these}} go to pharmacy and get one free. or buy one for about 1-2 dollars..
could be a bee sting - if the swelling is in her throat too she will suffocate. get her to the vet NOW!!!! this is not a choice
Allergies from something she ate maybe? Our dog was allergic to pollen from grass.Be careful allergies can cause the throat to swell or the tongue to swell and close of the air to the lungs.
you gotta go to the vet it is proably allergies now get of ur computer and help her
Did she get stung? Do you have an e-collar (plastic cone shaped collar) to put on her so that she doesn't hurt herself from the scratching?

My friend's dog got stung the other morning and the swelling went down within the hour. That was just one sting, though. Maybe a bit of Benadryl would help - check about the dosage though. Good luck!
she's probably allergic to something she's recently come in contact with, get her checked out immeadiately. it mite be food or pollen or even grass.
Nothing, you need to get her to the vet asap. Your dog could be extremely sick %26amp; by you not taking her to the vet could cause her to maybe die
