so my mom kinda reluctant to let me order some of their make-up...i mean im pretty cheap lol i went to target today and the lowest costing make-up was 3.99!!! i mean im not willing to go dollar store brand lol but i just wanna know what everyone thinks of elf overall





maybe like reviews on the items you bought( i know they have reviews online but i wanna know more of person to person) just to make sure elf is good for what you get =)

I LOVE THIS STUF!!! I use the cream shadows, eye liner, powder eye brightening shadows, the bronzer and the brushes. The stuff is great, it works really well and it doesnt break my face out or anything. I got one of each of the eye shadows (cream and powder), the studio brand of volumizing mascara and one of the brush sets. There's a lot of codes too, if you sign up with the website then they send you codes for free shipping or a free brush set with a purchase of $20 or more yada yada. It was great stuff- my mom uses the mineral make up which is also INCREDIBLY cheap for mineral make up. They mineral eye shadow is also great, it looks so natural.Eyes lips face.com (E.L.F.)?
The only things I really liked from the ELF line was their lip glosses, but then again it's sort of hard to screw up lip gloss. If you're looking for inexpensive there are lots of brands out there that you should try: NYC, NYX, Wet n' Wild, Jordana, Jane, etc. They might not all be $1 but they're way better than department store prices and ELF quality. Yes, E.L.F. is a very good makeup brand! I use their brushes, which are $1 each except for one or two special ones but they're still under $10. The makeup is good quality and they're really cheap too. You can't really get better than that for a $1, really.
I love ELF!!! It is one of the best makeup brands ever!! I use the brightening eye color every day and it is great!! Sometimes I use the earth and water mascara duo and the brightening eyeliner!! Its great!! I defiantly recommend it!! Now go out and buy yourself some ELF makeup!!! NOW!!!!
Okay I bought a ton from them. The custom Look kits are not worth it. You can buy everything seperatly. The directions suck too so I was only happy because I know how to do those looks already. I like all the eyeshadows. The cream ones included. They have great colors. Love the liquid eyeliner, especially in plum. All their lip glosses are probably the best thing to get. The colors are great and they go on really well. For a dollar, its a relief because lip glosses are getting expensive. The only one I wouldnt recommend is the candy shop lip tin. It works well, I just dont think it smells that great. I got the cherry and theres not even a hint of cherry in it. Favorite out of the lip stuff is the therapeutic conditioner. Hate the tweezers, theyre too sharp. It kind of hurts. The brushes are good but I can tell that they wont last longer than a year but thats fine, for a dollar, it shouldnt matter.As long as they do last, they're good. Eye widener not worth it. The shimmering facial whip goes on too shimmery. Its only good if you like that kind of stuff.Dont like the blushes or the bronzers. They go on good but you have to be so careful with them because they break easily. Kind of not worth it after a while. I know you dont want to spend alot of money on it, me either. Im a college student and money does not come very easy, but i still bought a good bronzer from too faced and its lasting me a very long time. Theres certain stuff where its going to be worth especially when your wearing it everyday. The waterproof eyeliner pen is awesome. Its not really waterproof but still works really good. The last thing, the concealer. Its very good, but I dont think its really prossible to ruin concealer. The mineral stuff I havent tried but ive heard its the best, espcially the eyeshadows.
